Bath University Enter 2 Teams for the Charity Driven 24 Hour Race
Last year’s 24 Hour PRO class winners will be well represented once again in our 2019 Charity Driven 24 Hour Race on the 2nd/3rd March after confirming a 2 car entry.
Both teams, which will be made up of one AM class and one PRO class car, will be filled by a host of drivers from University of Bath Motorsports team some of whom regularly attend our University Race Challenge events alongside their commitments to other racing series such as the British Universities Karting Championship.
Last year, the University of Bath Motorsport team contested the PRO class in our 2018 Le Mans 24 Hour in two well turned out Ferrari 458 GTEs. The so-called A-Team took the top step of the podium by less than a lap whilst their B-Team took a well earned 6th place, 5 laps down on their teammates.
With their GT3 car choice yet to be confirmed for the 2019 event at Portimao, we’re sure that both Bath teams will be aiming for the podium in what is sure to be a closely contested PRO class.
